I’ve always been drawn to a more natural way of doing things, especially when it comes to beauty. I was the kid squeezing lemons into my hair hoping the sun would make it blonder, and at one point I even attempted my own chocolate self-tanner. I’ve always loved experimenting, creating, and finding a way to make something myself. Safe to say, I’ve been mixing up little beauty experiments for a long time.

In 2019, I was diagnosed with endometriosis. I was already conscious of what I put on my skin, but my diagnosis made me look even closer at the products I was using every day and become much more intentional about the ingredients I chose to bring into my routine.

A few years later, I had the opportunity to work with two different perfumers at separate points in my life. I became fascinated by the process. Learning how fragrances are built, how different notes interact, and just how much goes into creating a scent. But learning more about the fragrance world also made me question why so many perfumes relied on ingredients I was personally trying to avoid. The problem was, I love perfume.

Scent is incredibly nostalgic to me. It can bring you back to a summer, a person, a place, or a tiny moment you thought you had forgotten. I didn’t want to give that up. I wanted to find a way to enjoy fragrance that felt more aligned with the choices I was making in the rest of my life.

So, eventually, I decided to make my own.

And honestly, creating SeaBloom felt very natural.

I’m an artist at heart. I work across different mediums, from painting and macramé to whatever else lets me create with my hands. Making things has always been one of the ways I feel most like myself, and fragrance unexpectedly became another creative outlet.

I love every part of the process, from blending fragrances and filling each bottle to designing the packaging and bringing each scent to life. Growing up in a small beach town, the coast naturally became the inspiration behind it all. Salt air, surf wax, sun kissed skin, blooming flowers, and long summer days by the water are the little moments that shaped SeaBloom.

Today, we create small batch perfume oils and beauty and wellness products inspired by nature. the sea and coastal living and made with ingredients chosen intentionally. Our perfume oils are made with a fractionated coconut oil base and thoughtfully sourced fragrances, and are alcohol-free, vegan, cruelty-free, and made without phthalates, parabens, or dyes.

I genuinely love making these products. I love knowing what goes into them. I love making things that smell incredible and feel special to use. And I love that something I originally began creating for myself can now become a tiny part of someone else’s everyday routine.

SeaBloom is still growing, and I’m still creating. But the heart behind it will always stay the same:

Beautiful things, thoughtfully made, inspired by life by the sea.

Rooted in nature, made by the sea.
